Chez Duo
Best Man's smoking jacket is a definite turn-on. Very elegant. Unfortunately, he wasn't out to impress. It took some convincing for them to let me stay once I was in the house
Upon entering their domicile, I was struck by the sheer amount
of posters on the wall - of women, criminals, superheroes,
Tommy "Tiny" Lister, Jr. and one of Chris O'Donnell with an
X through his face. I must admit I had to get pretty tough
to get Rich to come clean about his dual identity as Best
Man. But that's my job. I was sending him a telepathic message
that I know things. That he can trust me. I think he got it.
I could see a light switch on in his eyes. The best news is
that they have agreed to feature in my documentary, "The Duo".
I write this last entry after spending my first few hours
with them. I am preparing my first series of questions for
when I return to their home to begin work on "The Duo" (unfortunately
it appears that they do not generally rise before Noon, unless,
of course, there is a robbery or crime going on - for some
reason, they call these "Situations". When I first heard this,
I was reminded that Rich Tayton yelled this word out when
I chased him to the door. I guess for a brief time, I was
a "Situation" - hard as that is to believe).
It could be a while before I am able to share my first experiences
with the "Terrific Two" with you, faithful Crystaleers and
readers. Until then, I bid you farewell.
